Distributed Workforce Enablement is on the lookout for an enthusiastic leader to join our team of workstation experts. On this team, we enable our associates across the country with the hardware, software, and support they need to be successful at Mutual of Omaha.  This team, recently formed off the Desktop Engineering team, focuses on device provisioning, software distribution, and providing an amazing associate support experience.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $123,000 - $150,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.  
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. 
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year. 
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion. 
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Workstation Hardware Lifecycle: Oversee the entire lifecycle of associate workstations, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of devices and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies.
  • Software Packaging / Distribution / Removal: Manage the packaging, distribution, and removal of software applications to ensure that all systems are up-to-date, secure, and compliant with licensing agreements. 
  • VDI Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDIs) to provide employees with secure and efficient access to their virtual work environments. 
  • Level 3 Support: Provide advanced technical support for complex issues that escalate beyond the capabilities of lower-level support teams. Ensure timely resolution of critical incidents to minimize downtime and impact on business operations. 
  • Partner Relationship Management: Serves as a trusted advisor to business and I/S partners, solving problems and evolving solutions.
 
 
 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Obsessed with providing great technology experiences and willingness to innovate, drive change, experiment, and learn from failure.
  • Previous experience managing fast-paced teams and acting as product manager a diverse technology stack. 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with IT hardware and software, including workstation lifecycle management and software packaging & distribution concepts. 
  • Experience with managing vendor relationships and managed services. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, project management or business; or equivalent experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize leadership and communications skills to provide guidance and direction in one or more leadership roles. 
  • Experience with effective criteria evaluation, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
