The Claims Specialist will act as resource to Claims Analysts and Management with issue resolution, complex processing of transactions and internal and external customer interactions. Participates in process improvement activities, identifies and eliminates waste in processes that will result in focused effort on value add service for the customer. Innovates and creates ways to sustain process changes.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Annual Salary: $50,960 - $57,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and deliver training, provides leadership for the team through coaching and mentoring and helps ensure service objectives are met.
  • Meeting and exceed internal or external customer expectations while cultivating relationships that secure commitment and trust.
  • Convey information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps them understand and retain the message; listening actively to others.
  • Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment (e.g., people, processes, structure, or culture); adjusting effectively to change by exploring the benefits, trying new approaches, and collaborating with others to make the change successful.
  • Meet predetermined benchmarks for productivity and quality, while actively contributing to enhancing processes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proficient in the functions of a Special Risk Claims Analyst.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work independently and apply a sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with the application of policies, practices, and procedures in a business environment

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.
