As an ETL Java developer in our Mutual of Omaha Salesforce team, there are numerous professional growth opportunities to explore and expand your skill set. You can deepen your expertise in Salesforce-specific ETL tools and technologies, Informatica IICS or Mulesoft, while also honing your Java programming skills. Staying updated with the latest Salesforce APIs and integration patterns will also enhance your value as an ETL specialist. Your commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering innovative solutions and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.  

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications) 
  • Estimated Salary Engineer I: $95,000 - $115,000 plus annual bonus.  
  • Estimated Salary Engineer II: $115,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus. 
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. 
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year. 
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion. 
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally, you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.   

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design and implement ETL processes to efficiently extract data from various sources, transform it to meet specific business requirements, and load it into data warehouses or data marts, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using ETL tools, ensuring the reliable and timely flow of data from source systems to data storage solutions.
  • Ensure data quality through comprehensive validation, cleansing, and error handling mechanisms throughout the ETL process, maintaining high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain and enhance in-house Java applications, providing critical development support and implementing new features to meet evolving business needs, while ensuring the applications remain reliable and efficient.
  • Optimize ETL performance by addressing bottlenecks, improving query efficiency, and ensuring scalability as data volumes grow, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the data processing infrastructure.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proficiency in IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) for cloud-based data integration and management tasks. 
  • Expertise in Informatica tools, relational databases, scripting languages (Unix/Windows), and API integration for robust data processing and connectivity. 
  • Solid Java coding skills, enabling the development of custom data transformations, complex mappings, and efficient ETL processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. 
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics solutions.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Advanced Java Development Skills 
  • Intermediate to advanced MuleSoft skills (API Integration) 
  • Docker, Jenkins Kubernetes, Gradle, CI/CD
