The Mavericks car is seeking a skilled Project Manager to take the lead in vendor relationship management and holistic technical project management. You will lead an agile team that interfaces vendor-supplied applications to internal systems and custom applications related to the support of our underwriting and sales customers. This role is tailor-made for a self-driven, agile project manager who is excited to help the team succeed.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
  • Estimated Salary Project Manager l: $100,000 - $110,000, plus annual bonus 
  • Estimated Salary Project Manager II: $110,000 - $125,000, plus annual bonus.
    Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manages project planning, execution, and delivery, including financial analysis and issue resolution.
  • Builds and leads high-performing teams, fostering strong stakeholder and vendor relationships.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, including vendor management, developing and maintaining project charters, budgets, and project structures.
  • Facilitate day-to-day work coordination, prioritization, and removal of impediments. Track work status, manage issues, and evaluate progress, quality, and costs. Develop action plans to address gaps or risks and ensure adherence to compliance and procurement processes.
  • Drives the implementation or enhancement of business systems and technology solutions while promoting continuous improvement in areas like DevOps and Customer Experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5 or more years of project/program management experience in a formal capacity, such as Business Systems Consultant or Project Manager or related titles.
  • 5 or more years of experience developing positive vendor relationships.
  • Strong experience initiating action and transforming contextual information into actionable items.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, coupled with effective communication and conflict-resolution skills

    Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelors in related field of study, like Business Administration or Management Information Systems.
  • Desire to serve as an informal leader, coaching and driving the team toward continuous improvement.
  • Experience implementing regular reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes.
