Responsible for the execution of the Company's Enterprise Information Security Program, from delivering the strategic vision to the day-to-day tactical operations. Oversees policy development, enactment and governance, and program design to reduce and mitigate security risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Mutual of Omaha's technology and data assets.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: Minimum: $136,000 - $231,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Leadership and Management:

  • Direct and lead Information Security activities, managing Identity and Access Management, Security Operations, Data Security, Application Security, and Program Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Assist in strategic planning, develop, and implement tactical plans, optimize resources, control costs, and enhance service delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and align technology solutions with business requirements.

Security Technology and Innovation:

  • Drive the use of security technology for productivity, stay updated with industry advancements, identify innovation opportunities, and improve systems and processes.

Communication and Project Management:

  • Possess strong communication, presentation, and project management skills, manage multiple projects, make quality decisions, and serve as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for Mutual Mortgage, INC.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant industry experience, including 5 to 8 years of leadership experience within the cybersecurity career field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, MBA, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong strategic skills, problem-solving, decision-making, effective conceptual, analytic, and judgment abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with 3-5 years’ experience in presenting Information Security material and metrics to C-Suite executives and Board of Directors.
  • Budget management and cost reduction experience, along with project management skills, including planning, risk management, and prioritization.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, including but not limited to HIPAA, GLBA, PCI-DSS, NACHA, and state data security regulations.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships, influence stakeholders, and possess superior relationship-building and influencing skills.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Master's Degree preferred.
