As a part of the Retirement Plans Sales Development Program, you’ll participate in a comprehensive program to develop skills and competencies to successfully sell Retirement Plans through advisor relationships.   Combine your power with ours and see how far you can go.

What You'll Do:

  • Participates in a comprehensive program to develop skills and competencies to successfully see retirement plan products through advisor relationships.
  • Completes self-study, classroom training and on-site experience projects according to curriculum. Effectively contributes to classroom discussions. Participates in goal-setting and progress evaluation meetings.
  • Obtains direct experience by working with seasoned Internal Wholesalers to market our Retirement Plan product to advisors.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal business partners. Develops a high level of working knowledge about offered products.
  • Master the quoting system to oversee the completion of content, proposals and paper work flow throughout the field and the Home Office.
  • Master our CRM system to log and manage activity
  • Collects information needed to install a Retirement Plan and transition to a New Business Consultant for the installation process to begin.
  • Will prospect for new advisors in designated areas across all territories.
  • Will assist on taking inbound rollover calls.
  • Stays abreast of industry and government changes affecting retirement plans. Maintains an awareness of existing territory and industry market trends.
  • Employee must be willing to relocate upon promotion to a field position.

About You:

  • Ability to successfully achieve criteria of the Internal Sales Trainee Program.
  • Must begin working to attain FINRA SIE, Series 6 & 63 registrations and your Life Insurance License after 6 months of employment; all licenses and registrations must be attained within 12 months of employment
  • Strong presentation and consulting skills; ability to communicate positively and effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Highly self-motivated, competitive and results-oriented with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated industry and adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the work period
